A man to remember and a voice to hear in any moment of personal or societal struggle. What an inspiration for enduring to the end in faith, justice, peace, and spiritual and physical freedom.

"On some positions, Cowardice asks the question, "Is it safe?" Expediency asks the question, "Is it politic?" And Vanity comes along and asks the question, "Is it popular?" But Conscience asks the question "Is it right?" And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must do it because Conscience tells him it is right." - Martin Luther King Jr.  "Remaining Awake Through a Great Revolution" (31 March 1968)

His spirit reminds me of Joseph Smith, Jr. "Brethren, shall we not go on in so great a cause? Go forward and not backward. Courage, brethren; and on, on to the victory!" - Letter from Joseph Smith to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Nauvoo, Illinois, September 6, 1842.
