On Thursday we had a day off
and we all go to go to Semuc Champay
aka paradise, basically.
Semuc Champay is a natural monument
near the Q'eqchi' Maya town of Lanquín.
It consists of a natural 300mile limestone bridge,
under which passes the Cahabòn River.
Atop the bridge is a series of stepped, turquoise pools,
which make up a popular swimming attraction.
